Cancer Maintenance Therapy

  • Second Maintenance Therapy

      10 May 2016

Michael completed his second maintenance therapy last week, funded entirely through this page, and yesterday we received some good news. We met with the oncologist to receive the results of the 3-month post-chemo CT scan, and there is no evidence of disease anywhere, and some reduction in a remaining mass in the mediastinal region which indicates that that mass is most likely residual scar tissue from the most problematic tumour. Being able to have the maintenance therapy here is such a positive action, and it's doing its job of keeping the FNHL at bay. We remain so incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated. Thank you so much from all 4 of us. We have one further treatment here in early July, thanks to your donations, before we return to Norfolk in the first instance to continue treatment. No doubt a long journey ahead, but such a positive start. Thank you. x

  • First Maintenance Therapy

      8 March 2016

Michael's completed his first maintenance therapy session, funded through this page. Thank you. There were no side-effects and he's doing well. The sudden death of Martin Crowe from the same cancer that Michael has, that had successfully regressed but then sadly transformed into a Double-Hit Lymphoma, reinforces how crucial this treatment is. We remain incredibly grateful. Thank you x

  • Maintenance Therapy

      10 February 2016

    To all our Givealittle donors,

Thanks to your collective generosity, we have now raised enough in donations to fund Michael's first maintenance therapy session at the end of this month and - with other donations on their way - we're well on our way to funding the second which is simply extraordinary. Thank you for your invaluable support.

Michael's energy is returning daily, and it's hugely reassuring to us to know that we can push forward straight onto this important next phase of his treatment.

    Thanks everyone!

    Jenny and Michael x
