I have been selected to represent NZ at the Junior Road Cycling World Championships in Richmond, USA. I need your help to get me there.
Otago
I am a 16 year old cyclist with dreams of becoming a professional on the World UCI Tour and winning a medal for NZ at the Olympics in Cycling.
My dream is a step closer to becoming a reality with my selection to compete for NZ at the Road World Championships as a Junior in Richmond USA during September.
As a first year Junior I will be doing my very best to finish at the top of the field while also gaining the experience necessary to chase for a podium position in my second year as a junior in 2016.
The opportunity to travel and compete with the NZ Elite riders give me invaluable experience and will be a massive learning opportunity that I am so lucky to have. The lessons learned, contacts made and experiences gained will help set up the next stages in my cycling career.
The physical and mental demands of cycling require absolute dedication and passion for me to achieve my goals. I also want to achieve the best results I can academically. Cycling demands many hours each week of training and racing and add this to school, homework and study not much time is left for part time work.
This is where I need your help to get me to Richmond. Your donations will help cover the costs of travel, accommodation, race equipment and clothing for Worlds and the racing beforehand that I need to do to get me in the best race shape possible before taking on the world’s best.
Donations will be much appreciated and hopefully allow you to feel part of my dream and future successes.
Join me in my road to Richmond!
