Milas broken leg repair surgery

On Wednesday night, Mila, off leash at the dog park darted across the road and was struck by a passing car. The drivers were so apologetic and stopped to help my Mum, who immediately rushed her to the vet. She was given antibiotics and pain relief to help with the severe break in her hind leg. Dad slept on the floor overnight with her to make sure she didn't go into shock, and we were all relieved to see she came through the night. Our little Rambo girl is fighting fit but feeling very sorry for herself, and will be undergoing surgery on Friday afternoon to repair the fracture.

I'm hopeful that this surgery won't hold Mila back from her normal rambunctious attitude, but I am sad to think she will never be able to do her 'beardie' jump, or bomb off the wharf or jetty with me again :( The surgery is estimated to cost $3500-$4000 and comes at a time where we all don't have such finances spare. What a year 2020 has been!

Any amount helps, luckily the Vet is affiliated with a finance company and we can have the surgery as soon as possible.
