Millie Donald cyclist - help her to achieve her dreams and inspire other young girls along the way.

Paraparaumu, Wellington

Hi all, we are looking to raise funds to help Millie race in Europe.

As part of Millie's fundraising activities, Millie is going to attempt the women's hour record at the Hataitai velodrome, which currently stands at 33.8km.

Millie is an Oceania MTB champion, NZ MTB champion, NZ cyclocross champion and National Schools Road champion.

Millie's road team, Black Magic Women, have successfully launched the world tour careers of NZ female road cyclists from previous European campaigns and Millie will be traveling to Europe to try to emulate their success.

As part of the campaign Millie is hoping to be selected for MTB World Champs in Andorra, and road World Champs in Zurich. Selections are not due to be announced for a few weeks, although MTB seems very likely.

All of this is obviously rather costly, and World Champs selections are self funded. So we are looking for some help to make this happen.

Millie has been racing locally at Hataitai velodrome, at Huttcross and other events since she was 9 years old. She hopes to inspire other young girls to follow in her footsteps.
