Surgery went well with no complications, it was a long 12 hours waiting for news but she made it through like an absolute champ. She asked for mummy and daddy the second she was extubated.
Millie has mostly been sleeping since but has shown us some amazing signs like singing a song, reaching for cuddles, even saying she's off to the playground before falling asleep again. The team here is observing her closely, and we will forever be grateful for the three amazing neurosurgeons (and the whole team behind them) for taking such considerate care with our baby.
It's a bit soon to have all the answers, but we are feeling very positive so far and will keep you updated as she recovers. Thank you for all your generosity with donations, love and support! We are so grateful to have so many people loving Millie from afar 🩷
