To see miracles unfold as we band together to build hope in Nepal
International
Nepal 1904 💫
We, as a team of 16, stayed in the community of Urlabari, Nepal during Dec 19/Jan 20 and helped to continue building a second orphanage. We met incredible people with divine stories who blessed us more than we could ever imagine. Now is our time to band together to give back and continue to pour blessings of prosperity into that community.
I have been challenged to run a half marathon in support of these children - far from my comfort zone but a platform that can raise more awareness than I could alone. They are the reason, I put my shoes on each day, get off the couch and run the streets. This isn’t about me, but about those cheeky grins that are no doubt going to change the world.
The goal is to clear the school debts of approximately $NZD900 and the costs that remain on the orphanage of approximately $NZD3090. These have accumulated as a result of a lack of sponsorship for the children but we now have the opportunity to provide a clean slate as the children are sponsored and other funds raised can be put towards expanding the facilities to cater for the hundreds more children that need the love, care and support this orphanage provides.
It’s so simple to make a difference - even donations of $1 add up as we band together to push the boundaries of possibility within this community.
Thank you for taking the time and I hope you are encouraged to go beyond your comfort zone to see miracles unfold before your eyes.
Myself and 15 others conducted a mission trip to Nepal over the period Dec 19/Jan 20 to build build a second orphanage in the region of Urlabari. We now work to sustain the work that we started through continued support to the community.
The funds will be utilised to pay off the children’s accumulated school debt and the remaining building costs that have accrued due to changing nature of Nepal’s government regulations. Any excess funds will be put towards future-proofing initiatives.
