Kia Ora to all our wonderful donors, thank you for supporting Mr Mhiskers and enabling him to get the veterinary treatment he needs. He has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, is on medication and we have a follow up appt next week to see if it's working...fingers crossed!

Meow meow Hoomans, has been a rough week, I went to see the amazing team at Halifax Vets for some dental treatment, but instead found out I have and overactive thyroid gland! Really glad Aunty T'ai chose to pay for the extra pre-op bloods so we knew the surgery might not be safe for me.
I'm on a 3 week treatment of some serious meds, and then we will get some more blood tests to see if they are making a difference...fingers and paws crossed for me whānau 🐱🙏

Meow meow Hoomans...it's beena cold rainy few weeks! Aunty T'ai finally took the cat cage i was in, back to the amazing Halifax Vets, and she got me a new dose of flea and worm treatment, plus some crunchy treats, so I'm feeling quite pleased with myself 😻
We are all booked in next month for a full dental, my toofs are very sore, and breath is stinky as 😕 so the sooner the better! Nui te aroha ki nga tangata katoa! Meow, purr, bite xx

Meow meow Hoomans, I have had a bad week, my toofs have gotten very sore, I can't even eat the yummy chicken necks Aunty T'ai has been getting me 😿 It's made me a bit grumpy & I've been trying to bite Aunty and our neighbours! We hopefully will raise our target soon, & be able to take me to Dr Dom at Halifax Vets so he can fix my mouth up, & I'll be one happy kitty 🐱 Meow, purr, bite ❤️ Mr Whiskers

Aunty T'ai tells me we are urgently trying to raise some more funds so I can get my teeth looked at, looks like I might need some extractions, I'll feel so much better and be way less grumpy once I get them seen to!

Meow meow hoomans, hope you are all safe, warm and dry after last night's storms! It's lovely and sunny here in Nelson today, so Aunty T'ai and I have been outside in the garden, digging and composting and enjoying the warmth!

Ata mārie whānau, I'm feeling pretty happy with myself after being such a good boy at the vet, and all the aunties gave me lots of treats and chicken necks, we are going back next Thursday so I can get my teeth looked at properly, I'll be asleep for this one, so I won't be able to bite anyone 😁

we are back from our visit to the amazing Dr Dom and team at Halifax Vets. Miss Whiskers is officially Mr Whiskers, and is booked in for a full dental under anaesthesia next Thursday.
