To both Hendrix, and Shaun's wider friends and family.

We would like to support you at this time with what we can as a community and as a wider country. I remember fondly playing representative hockey with Hendrix as well as Hauku and the wonderful family you have come from. I sadly shared the information of Hendrix to my father John who remembers yourself a son and brother as a gentle, smart, hands on and inquisitive giant that lived next to Colin in Balfour and helped the men at a younger stage with "bikes for fun". Unfortunately I was never blessed with the opportunity of knowing Shaun, but given the circumstances Shaun and wider family i can see the best of humans that knew you and i would have adored you also mate xo. We have all grown over the years many of us have moved far or near but our hearts and thoughts ALWAYS fall back to those who have bled sweat, love, time and tears into our bringing. We remember the names of those who we stood next to at 12 years old. We cannot ask anymore than for the sea to return your boys (our boys). The reasons for creating this page is to give others within both families lives the oppourtunity to give in the most realistic way possible at this time. Money obviously cannot mend the current state but can allow you to get through this period of time. Our thoughts are with you all daily. With all our love xoxo
