Mongol Rally 2019 - Coastin' Kiwis

$1,356 of $3,000 goal
Given by 13 generous donors in 13 weeks

Four kiwi lads driving from London to Mongolia in the worst car we could find all while raising money for two incredible charities.

International

When we heard about the Mongol rally we instantly knew we wanted to take part. Driving a less than reliable car a third of the way around the world while raising money for charity sounded right up our alley.

The Mongol rally aka the greatest motoring adventure on the planet has few rules... non negotiable is the car must be 1000cc or less and you must raise $1000 for charity.

These seemed like achievable goals to a group of guys who are quite frankly allergic to admin. We picked up our trusty (fingers crossed) 1000cc steed, a 2 door Nissan Micra lovingly named "the red peril" (Shout out to Mr and Mrs Allaway) and now we need your help to raise some funds for a couple of absolutely worthy causes.

Coolearth is the official charity of the Mongol Rally, they work with indigenous tribes in the amazon to halt deforestation and Operation orphan, a beautiful organisation that runs multiple projects all aimed at keeping orphaned children safe, warm and healthy all over the world. Check out their websites for more information.

So go on, help out a few unassuming West Coast boys! and remember, you're all great New Zealanders.

Onward!
