    Phnom Penh here we come!

    Cant believe its only 2 weeks out until we board a plane to Cambodia. Its crazy how fast the time has gone.

    From a fundraising perspective, we booked a couple of venues to have them cancel on us 2 weeks out due to "Double Bookings" or "Much larger group we had to give priority to" and then it got too close to Christmas for it to be suitable.

    Sooo.... where are we at?

    We have managed to save/raise/have costs covered to the current value of $5745 which is absolutely incredible and we are definitely going. Praise God!

    On the flip side, the total cost is actually coming in at more then $7.5k for us as childcare costs are higher due to daycare now shutting down for most of the time, my insurance bill being stupidly high, injections and so forth... not to mention the very poor american dollar conversion rate at the moment :(.

    so, if you would still like to donate any last minute support at all would be appreciated.

  • Fundraising to Come

    Hi Everyone... Just a little update. We are almost 1/2 way to our fund raising goal (people have given cash or to bank/not just through givealittle).

    Flights are booked and childcare is locked in!

    Moving Forward #1:

    After the success of our Settlers of Catan Games night we are keen to host another Board Games night - If any one has any recommendations on locations please let us know - we're thinking of a Cafe evening at this stage but interested in any other ideas you may have.

    Moving Forward #2:

    We have a large 'Grocery Gift Basket' and a large 'Family Health and Wellness' Gift box we will be raffling... photos and info to come

    Thank you to the person who has covered all our childcare costs + travel insurance costs - We so appreciate your generosity. We are looking for another Sponsor (or 2) who would be willing to contribute a larger amount (e.g Flights $1700 each or medical/Jabs Approx $300 each)
