Mum and dad having a terrible run at life

Hello,

Deirdre and Geoff took me into care in their family home when I was 2 years old. My mother passed of an overdose when I was 2. Ever since then my foster parents have looked after me and supported me through my life. Mum worked really hard at child young persons and their family services for many years,while Dad was a self employed handyman. They are now in their 70s and have had nothing but issue after issue and stress after stress with their property they have in Duntroon, giving them nothing but problem after problem. It was purchased without knowing it would need a lot of council consent. Since then all the work that was done on the property has cost thousands and thousands! They are pensioners and this is not how they are expected to live their retirement. And it's definitely not how I imagined they would live their retirement in this much stress and sleepless nights. They need a break!!!! My mum has been by my side with my crap all my life and without her God knows where i would be. So I have been staying with them the last 6months to help them out as much as I can with the heavy work and general helping out where i can. I want them to have a happy life and not go on suffering like this because these 2 deserve a break after all their hard work in life. Love them dearest and I would do anything to make them happy. So anything raised at all will go to them, to relieve this burden of stress they have been carrying for the past 5 or so years. THANK YOU
