Muritai School Performance Rōpū - Fundraising for New Uniforms

Our Rōpū is currently preparing for the annual HuttFest extravaganza at the end of the term. This is always a highlight on the cultural calendar where schools from across the Hutt region showcase their Kapa Haka to the wider community. This year our rōpū has exploded in size with membership that equates to about a third of the school! This is fantastic to see BUT it has created a bit of a problem for us… we don’t have enough uniforms for everybody!
The cost of making and buying new outfits is considerable and we need your support to raise some funds for our ākonga.
About us
The school is in the heart of the village of Eastbourne, a small, seaside community on the edge of Wellington Harbour. Eastbourne has a beautiful environment, nestled between the sea and the bush, and close community atmosphere.
