Kumeu Rotary with Allely Estate & Wine Time have come together with a lofty goal to raise over $150,000+ for the Muriwai Community Association which is fundraising for the Muriwai Relief Fund.
Unprecedented landslides have devastated the Muriwai community.
The event was traumatic with many harrowing stories of close calls.
148 homes have been red stickered.
No one is able to enter their properties.
Homes have been totally destroyed.
Families are displaced.
Policemen, nurses, teachers and business owners are among those couch surfing with kids.
Hardworking kiwis have lost everything and are facing extraordinary uncertainty.
This event on Sunday 26th March – 12 to 4pm 2023, coupled with suction and this page will raise much needed funds for:-
- the displaced families;
- local businesses affected;
- the restoration of Muriwai
About us
Kumeu Rotary serves the Rodney West community including; Kumeu, Huapai, Waimauku, Taupaki, Riverhead, Helensville and Muriwai.
The Club’s primary focus is on youth and local projects.
Use of funds
Kumeu Rotary will be the custodian of funds raised to support and provide to the Muriwai Community Association for:-
- the displaced families;
- local businesses affected;
- the restoration of Muriwai
