I'm cycling 800kms and want to raise $1 for each one, to give to Phone Credit for Refugees, helping those who must move to find freedom.
International
I'm cycling 800kms through Denmark and Norway, because I have the freedom to move, to explore, to try new things. But as I go I'm thinking of those who have to go so much further just to find the safety to live.
I would be, quite literally, lost without a mobile phone on this trip. It's helping me find my route, and it's keeping me in touch with loved ones who encourage and support me.
I don't know if my imagination can do justice to the fear experienced by those who are forced to flee their homes. But to do so with no ability to contact support networks and services, to not know how your friends and family are, to not be able to hear a loving voice in your darker moments... Nobody should have to experience any of that.
So I'm hoping to raise $1 for every kilometre I cycle, and give that money to Phone Credit for Refugees. They are volunteers who use all donations to buy phone credit for displaced people, it's a small but effective (and at times life-saving) service for those who need it most.
I'm giving £20, will you spare a $10 top up for someone who really needs it?
And please share this on your social networks!
I want to support the important and effective work PC4R does in keeping refugees and displaced people able to contact support networks
Everything I raise I will give to Phone Credit for Refugees, and everything they receive buys phone credit for displaced people around the world!
