    It’s been a while since I’ve updated you all. Just before Christmas Hollie got the news she’d need to start a much stronger treatment, a much more brutal and aggressive chemo to fight this disease even harder. She had a small break from treatment and has started the new one. Anyone who has seen her around will have noticed she’s still wearing her smile and is fighting this so so hard - her strength continues to be absolutely phenomenal. The fundraising page is still going strong and I know every small donation, share, event and more importantly the lovely messages of support mean the absolute world.

  • Rocking the Ruakaka Tavern honouring Hollie

    As Hollie continues this horrible battle so incredibly courageously and with her gorgeous bubbly smile another amazing event has been announced by the Ruakaka Tavern to kick off the New Year. Featuring band ‘Caged’ all proceeds will be donated to Hollies cause, $10 a ticket, for live music and showing Hollie our unwavering support 💕

  • Fundraiser Quiz and Auction!!!

    Pop Wednesday 4th December, 6.30pm in your diaries with this fundraiser night for Hollie. The Porthouse Bar and Eatery in Ruakaka will be hosting this night not to be missed, $10 per team. Get your friends together!

    The auction afterwards is sure to be fun..prizes for this are still being collected so if anyone has any donations they would be hugely appreciated - every item contributing to helping Hollie on this fight.

  • Bream Bay still busy fundraising for Hollie!

    The momentum behind the fundraising for Hollie continues to be phenomenal. As brave Hollie continues with her treatment the community have been beavering away behind the scenes making more fundraising magic happen!

    Land and Sea held Fusion Friday, sales of Hollies favourite drink donated to Hollies cause. The amazing Cadenshae are holding ‘Pink Friday’ a warehouse open day on Friday 22nd Nov also fundraising for our amazing girl. Meanwhile Hollies lovely cousin from Koa Creations, sold beautiful handmade soy candles - of course in pink - as a fundraiser, some very lucky people got there hands on these. Last but not least, Porthouse are holding a Quiz night fundraiser. Thank you so so much to everyone involved, Hollie is taking so much strength from everyone’s amazing efforts!

  • Queen for a day and beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl

    Sunday saw Hollie being made to feel and look like the queen that she is when the amazing Kirsty Halliday (Kirsty Joy Photography) teamed up with Makeup by Katy Jane and Bank Street Bridal for a photoshoot. This dream team made Hollie feel so special and she made some amazing friends on the day, the pictures just say it all!

    Meanwhile, Bulbs Direct NZ dedicated 100% of sales of the bulb ‘Hollies Perfection’ to helping Hollie. This was an exclusive breed of Calla not to be found anywhere else. The lucky people to get their hands on these are the only ones in the world to have them...you can’t get more special than that! An amazing gesture.

  • Workout for Hollie, Fight for Hollie!

    The amazing support for Hollie from the local community continues!! Labour day sees the gym that Hollie and Andrew were clients at, BHP functional Fitness, hold ‘Workout for Hollie’ bringing together people of all fitness levels to help raise funds.

    Close friend of Andrew and Hollie, Mackay Crawley, this week announced ‘Fight for Hollie’ - a woman’s self defence seminar - this is sure to be an amazing night. It’s wonderfull to see the community coming together for Hollie!

  • Going pink for Hollie!

    Family have been getting their pink on in support of Hollie this weekend! Joining the 4000 strong sea of pink in Whangarei to help turn the loop pink on Sunday, while down in Auckland the Half Marathon was run all in pink of course.

    Once again a huge thank you for the phenomenal show of support for Hollie. I know she’s overwhelmed and getting so much strength from this support. Let’s keep on sharing the page, it may just get shared with others that can donate and help raise even more for amazingly brave Hollie!

    Thank you so so much everyone for your amazing donations! Hollie has been truly overwhelmed with your donations and beautiful messages of support - she had no idea she touched so many people!
