My car, my son's car, burned in the early hours of the morning.

Shortly before 4.30am, 11th of September 2024, someone decided to ruin the livelihood of a stranger.

This person, or these people, did not care about breaking into my car. They set it on fire, I woke to the horror of seeing my only car, and the means for taking my son from A to B, going up in smoke.

In my vehicle was my license, personal belongings, my son's belongings, his carseat, his pram in the boot, as well as other important paperwork and cards.

I have no money for a new car

Shortly before 4.30am this morning, 11th of September, some heinous person(s) decided to set my car on fire in the driveway. We woke to the constant scream of my vehicle's horn, then opened the curtain to find my car on FIRE.

My son's car seat, his pram, my personal belongings, not to mention my car, is ruined. Scorched by someone who didn't care who they hurt. They're lucky they didn't kill someone.

This was a deliberate, careless act that was unpromted and uncalled for. I'm a good person. I lost my only vehicle, I have no money for a new car, carseat or pram, and left supposed to pick up and drop off my son for visitation. I still can't come to terms with the fact that this actually happened to me.

Now my car has been destroyed.

Please, help me fund a new vehicle. My son and I depend on a car to get around, to get to visitations with his father. I have no savings for facing something this catastrophic.
