My Mental Health Struggle

Hi, thanks for reading. I have suffered from moderate to severe depression and anxiety for years now. Since my father committed suicide when I was 14, the struggle has never ended.

I have accessed all forms of help available to me, yet to no avail. After 3 failed suicide attempts (not cries for help, trust me) multiple jobs lost because of my illness and friends and family that have discarded me like garbage, I'm now at a pretty tough stage. I was made bankrupt last year as I had no way to pay the bills, and I was also recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Those of you who know anyone who's been through depression, anxiety or suicide will know the struggle is real.

I don't feel selfish for doing this, I've been told to reach out for help if I need it and speak up, so that's what I'm doing.

I just lost my most recent job and have just gotten into winz with the help of my mental health key worker. We are getting some help from winz, buts no where near enough The anxiety and stress of having to find a job to support my wife and daughter is overwhelming and this anxiety leads to a huge amount of overthinking, guilt, judgement and ultimately I get into such a state I can't work.

I've been referred for some psychotherapy but have been told it's months away. I basically need the funds to pay rent and food until I can start the psychotherapy and learn the tools and techniques to get over this awful games my mind plays on me.
