Greetings all,
Trust you all had a good week and with the lockdown outcome this week, may mean changes to your schedule and work arrangements. Amidst all this we live in a great country.
As for my mom, just a quick update. She was due for her last intravenous chemo therapy this week. Her appointment with the oncologist last week did not go that well. Her blood count was too low to undergo intravenous chemo. They told her that the chemo treatment is not doing what was expected. My mom had little use of her left arm due to the lymph nodes blocking the blood flow to the arm.
The blood count was good this week and her appointment with the oncologist this week revealed that the intravenous chemo has started to work. The swelling of the arm subsided. They were planning on trying the radium treatment but first needed to seek approval from there medical insurance, however the oncologist now feel they should continue with the intravenous chemo for one more week. Please keep my mom in your prayers for further healing and recovery.
Your donations will be released towards and end of the month. I will keep you posted when the product will leave NZ shores.
Thank you once again for all your support and prayers.
Many Blessings
Rudi
