My Mom Saved My Life!

When I was 3 years old, a man appeared with a gun and threatened my life. My mom chose to save my life, this man raped her. In 2015, my mom and I were robbed by 2 men at gunpoint and we luckily got through physically unharmed. My mom prayed and pleaded for them not to hurt us, I wouldn't have made it this far without her! There is nothing in the world that could ever show how much I love and appreciate her enough, but I would like to try by getting her out of South Africa and ensuring she has a safe future. They live in fear and our story is just a blimp of what happens in SA daily. Despite everything, my mom always shines a light wherever she goes and touches the lives of whoever she meets. I have been fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to come to beautiful New Zealand and call it home. We have such an amazingly strong bond and it has been very difficult knowing how they have been struggling. It has been my mission to give my family the same opportunity and show them how life is supposed to be lived. The only way I can make this happen is unfortunately very costly. She will have to gain a specific qualification in order to find employment and ensure she won't have to return to SA. Financially I cannot afford to pay for the visa, flights and the course.
