My son Ethan and his partner have lost everything tonight and don't have contents insurance. While they were working for Aucklands civil emergency the flood went through their flat right up to bench level. They're not to worried about furniture at this stage but only have the clothes/ uniform they have on and have lost all electronics e.g laptops etc.He helps everyone, now he needs help.

He is staying with a family member while he finds somewhere to live. We are very grateful for what everyone gave and this will be going towards a new bed and some household stuff once he has somewhere to go
