Hi, I’m Lucas, a 15-year-old para swimmer, chasing my dream—one stroke at a time!

Since competing at Nationals last year, I’ve been pushing my limits, qualifying for National Age Groups 2025, NZ Champs 2025, and now NZ Short Course later this year. But the biggest milestone yet? I’ve been selected to represent New Zealand again in the Tri-Series in Australia this July! I’m also proud to hold the NZ 16U S10 200m Butterfly record.

Swimming is more than just a sport for me—it’s a journey of perseverance, dedication, and proving that anything is possible. Competing at national and international levels is an incredible opportunity, but the costs of travel and accommodation are a big hurdle.
