My Swimming Journey 2.0....where will this one take me!

My name is Lucas, I am 14 years old and the next chapter on my para swimming journey is about to begin. I reached my goal of attending National Age Group Champs, where I got a bronze medal in the 50m Butterfly. Since competing at Nationals, I have qualified for NZ Short Course Champs and have also been selected to represent New Zealand later this year in the Tri-Series. I am hoping this is my first selection of many at being able to represent my country. I have set up this page to help with the costs of travel and accommodation to national and international events.

Journey Update 16 February 2025
Since creating my page I have competed at the NZ Tri-Series, I had the best time and met lots of new Para swimmers. I have competed at NZ Short Course Champs and College Sport Wellington relay Champs and my college won. I was a finalist in the College Sport Wellington Para Sports Person of the year. I was selected for a Wellington Silver Squad and most recently I have been selected to be part of the Paralympics Pathway Foundation Level Prgramme for L.A 2028
