Nala is a life loving border collie who's love for play has been halted due to a ligament rupture in her knee.
Christchurch, Canterbury
We brought Nala home from Oamaru over 6 years ago and she has been the biggest part of our family ever since. Being a border collie, she loves adventure, runs and of playing. But unfortunately, Nala's non-stop character has left her with a TORN CRUCIATE ligament in knee. "The worst I've seen for a while" were the vet's own words. The only way to repair this is a with a $6.5k surgery and 12 month recovery.
Our hope is to get her back on her paws before her 7th Birthday (Sep 2nd) so that she can visit her friends at her dad's work (HIIT Co.) to thank them for all of their support.
As a part of our $3,000 fundraising goal, Nala's parents (Hayden & Stacey) will be completing 3,000 burpees in 7 days starting from Sunday Aug 16th.
Nala needs a TPLO surgery to help repair a torn cruciate ligament in her knee so she is able to walk, run and play again soon.
