    Kia ora e te whānau,

    A quick update from us!

8 month ago, Noels' light chain levels were at 10,653 due to multiple myeloma. 4,000 was the highest the specialist had ever seen! Today, they are back down to under 20 - 3.75! Truly amazing.

This turnaround has come from a journey through treatment in Christchurch, including a full stem cell transplant. There were some rough moments along the way, but the treatment has been successful, and we are all incredibly grateful.

Ephesians 3:20-21 - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory!

Noels is now back home focusing on recovery and it's going really well.

Thank you to everyone who has supported through this — your kindness, encouragement, prayers and care have meant more than we can put into words.

    Love Becks xx

  • Update from Christchurch Hospital

      26 February 2026

    Kia ora e te whānau,

Firstly a huge thank you for your generous hearts, it means so much to us. Every prayer, encouraging messaging, financial donation and page share. Thank you!

Did want to give a brief update in that the stem cell transplant has now taken place and we are on day 6 post transplant. Just currently in christchurch hospital in the middle of a bit of a rough patch but the doctors and nurses say we are on track and are where they expect me to be at on day 6, things are being well managed.

We get through this time and move into the more pleasant recovery phase.

Again thanks, please be assured your help and encouragement means so much.

Blessings to you all and your whānau
