$15 or $500 - WE NEED YOUR DONATION TO SUPPORT OUR WORK ACROSS HAWKE'S BAY...
Now more than ever Napier Family Centre needs your support to reach vulnerable children and families in our communities affected by COVID-19.
Napier Family Centre provides services to over 2500 families a year in social work, counselling, budgeting, education programmes and early childhood services.
As the community emerges from such isolation, we are concerned for our vulnerable children living in poverty and where stress and hardship has tipped people’s relationships over the edge. We are worried about how much debt will be weighing on families using credit cards or high risk loans to meet bills.
As we saw in the last recession we will see more demand on our services in the coming months and the gap between what we have and what our community needs is going to increase.
WHAT IS THE NEED?
COVID-19 presents a new set of challenges for all New Zealanders but our commitment to supporting vulnerable people in our community remains un-waivered. Due to increased demand and our inability to fundraise through our normal ways we estimate Napier Family Centre needs to raise $150,000 to reach and support those affected by COVID-19 in Hawke's Bay.
Every donation be it $15 or $500 is so important and could be the difference between whether or not we can say, "yes we can help".
About us
Serving the communities of Hawke's Bay since 1983, Napier Family Centre works with around 2500 families every year providing essential social services in social work, budgeting, counselling, education and ECE.
Use of funds
All the funds received will used to ensure we can commit with confidence to the services and programmes our community will need in the coming months. The more we get, the people and families we can help! Thank you.

Our give a little page for our fundraising appeal will close at the end of this month, so we wanted to say thank you again to everyone who has donated and shared our appeal over the last couple of months!
We are grateful for the generosity shown and the funds will go a long way to ensure access to quality, professional services for people facing hardship, distress and disadvantage through providing free, subsidised and low cost services in building financial capability, counselling, parenting education, children's courses, social work and early childhood education.
We work with around 2500 people throughout the Hawke's Bay region each year. Your donation could mean relief for a parent worrying how to put food on the table; warm clothing for a child in this harsh winter or supporting parents facing relationship difficulties.
