Since 2007 our family have been donating to this school located in Mikindani near Mombasa on the Kenyan coast. Four members of our family have travelled to this location to meet the Director, Teacher's and Student's and also to volunteer time.
The need at this school is to feed the Orphans and School Children who don't have enough food for lunches. For one meal the school budgets .50 cents (USD) per meal. The past and future donations are sent to the school's account where the Director sees that all funds are for meals and preparation only. We make sure that 100% of the donations go towards meals for the needy kids.
Although this is a Christian based school it also has children from other faiths who attend and receive much needed meals.
