Northland Community Preschool "Treasure Chest" Fundraiser

Northland Community Preschool is a community based preschool where qualified teachers CARE for children as they PLAY, LEARN and GROW. We support a “play based learning” approach where children’s play is recognised as a powerful tool for meaningful and authentic learning. As a mixed aged centre, tuakana teina is integral to the way children learn within this physically, emotionally and culturally safe and caring environment.

We're fundraising to improve our small, not-for-profit preschool's facilities. Specifically, we have identified a need for a better storage solution with easier access to all the things our children need throughout the day.

A fabulous architect in our community has designed a bespoke "treasure chest" that would allow our teachers safe and easy access to all equipment, from inside or outside, without taking them away from our children. This custom built design will have a hugely positive impact for our preschool – but first we need to pay for it!
