Im absolutely shattered to write this 💔

Our strong warrior Nehemiah took his last breath at 12.50pm peacefully at home with his family around him . He fought so hard through his journey i dont know how he kept a smile on his face .

We love you so much my big baby life isn’t going to be the same without you but i know that you are in a better place now sickness and pain free and i hope that will be enough for us to carry on being strong .

Until we meet again my son 🤍

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us in anyway through our sons journey . We couldn’t thank you enough we are truly grateful 🥰

    Nehemiah Isaiah Awatere 💙

I am the resurrection and the life . Whoever believes in me , though he die , yet shall live , and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die .

I am so sorry to hear this. I could never imagine the type of pain that comes with losing your child especially so young.

Thank you for inviting us along on your journey and I’m so sorry it came to this.

Sending lots of love and strength your way! I hope during these hard times you are wrapped in your Whanaus love and your sons strength.

Rest peacefully beautiful boy, life is so unfair. 💔

Last week Nehemiah begun getting head pain and started vomiting. He was taken to Wellington hospital where his parents were told that they either operate immediately to remove the fluid on his brain an put a drain in and he will last one month or so and if they do not operate he will last 1 to 2 days. His parents chose for him to have the surgery and he came through the surgery well. Nehemiah has now returned home to spend his last month or so with his family. This has been devastating news for his whole family and we would like to thank you all for your continued support and financial assistance during this time.
