Help us put on a production of Nell Gwynn, a musical play and future productions in the Wairarapa

We are raising funds to help bring the musical Nell Gwynn to the rural community of the Wairarapa in New Zealand. In the role of growing the well being and strengthening the community, we believe that the arts play a vital role in the overall process. However, to bring a show to the community costs money. Costumes have to be made, halls; hired, rights paid for, etc, but we want to keep the cost of the tickets down to a minimum in order not to have a barrier which prevents the local community from coming out and enjoying the show.

We do not believe that the ability to pay for the performance should prevent people from seeing this production or future productions

We are looking to run the show over a 2 week period with a target of 8 performances.

So we are raising money to help inject funds into the production budget and help us to reduce the cost of the tickets. The funds we are hoping to raise for will greatly help reduce the costs that the ticket price needs to cover.

The more we can raise, the more that the local community will be able to benefit as we will look to lower the price of the tickets even lower than the current target price.

Whilst we have a target to raise, any contribution will be very much appreciated.
