The New Brighton Scout group is a small group due to relocating families from East Christchurch after the damage the Christchurch Earthquakes done to the area. There are 6 scout members both boys and girls that are trying to fundraise to go to the 2016/2017 Jamboree in Blenheim. The Jamboree is a 10 day fun filled event for all scouts around New Zealand as well as overseas. It is a fantastic way for all the children to make lifelong friendships and do confidence building activities. It teaches them life skills that will set them up for their lives ahead.
