Nicki's Treatment

Nicki has surgery on April 22nd to remove her left breast (fondly named Lefty) and the cancerous mass. The mass was quite large, and the Drs will be letting Nicki know what grade the cancer is when she meets with them mid-May. The surgery went well, and upon investigation of her hip, it was found that the mass there was not cancerous. This means that there is probably small, undetectable cancerous growths elsewhere in Nicki's body, which can hopefully be dealt with using chemotherapy. Nicki is recovering, but is still in a lot of pain.
