Our charitable trust is run leanly as we work to offer fun foreign language classes to families & the community at an affordable price.

We request an annual School Donation from all enrolled families. This School Donation goes to our Overheads Fund, which pays for one year's worth of the following:
Accounting (including Xero not-for-profit monthly subscription fee and accountant to put together year end accounts) $1,535
General Insurance (includes Public Liability insurance, Statutory insurance, Employers insurance $1,171
Online Expenses (including website, domain, cloud/online storage) approximately $679 (depending on foreign exchange rate as items are billed in US dollars).
Employer ACC Levies (this will increase if classes/teaching time increases) approximately $440
Mobile Phone Prepaid Account ($20 monthly top up) $240
Teachers First Aid Certificate Revalidations (2 year amount $120 per teacher per 2 years) $120
PO Box Rental $175
Total $4,360 per year (about $363 of overheads per month)
About us
Ni Hao Children’s Community charitable trust is a fun & friendly place for young Kiwi children and their families to learn Mandarin Chinese in Wellington.
We provide immersion Mandarin Chinese Classes for children and families who want to learn and use Mandarin Chinese as a foreign/second language.
We prioritise developing the oral and listening language skills of children, and have less focus on academic reading and writing. Our classes are child-centred in their approach and we "learn by doing"!
