Before you ask outsiders for help it would be good to know what he himself is doing to fundraise. what help his family is providing and what help the local Nelson sailing club and community is giving.

Depending on these answers people including me may be more prepared to help

Noah

Kia ora Robyn and thanks for your feedback,

Noah has been very active reaching out to the Nelson business community in 2019. I believe he wrote close to 60 emails to present his project and knocked on countless doors. He received the support from three local businesses who helped funding his trip to France in June for the European championships. Noah nurtures those relationships and regularly engages with those early supporters. However as a 14 year old, Noah also has to focus on school work, training, friendships and cannot dedicate all his spare time to fund raising, hence this givealittle page.

As a family, we fully support Noah in his endeavors. We are investing in competitive equipment and are funding his regular trips to Auckland and participation to regattas around the country. Unfortunately, the Nelson Yacht Club doesn't provide financial support to its members and the absence of high performance coaching locally forces Noah to train in Auckland on a regular basis.

The funding secured on givealittle will help funding his campaign in NZ and his likely participation to the World championship in 2020.

Thank you so much for your support!
