Noel Roberts Memorial Donations

Noel Roberts' son Gareth has setup this Give A Little campaign at the request of the general public involved in the search for Noel on the evening of Wednesday the 31st of August and Thursday the 1st of September 2022, which tragically resulted in a member of the public from the Feilding community finding Noel deceased.

The proceeds of all donations will be given to organizations related to Alzheimer's and Cancer research and support, as both of these terrible illnesses have afflicted the family. If you prefer to donate directly to an organisation, please do!

The family sincerely thanks and is very grateful to everyone for getting involved. We really appreciate how caring people have been, how the local Feilding and wider community rallied, searched and eventually found Noel.

On Wednesday evening 7.22pm the family setup a Facebook Post on the Feilding Community public group on Facebook which was eventually shared 1000's of times. Large numbers of the Feilding community joined the search. https://www.facebook.com/FriendlyFeilding/posts/8003186583055851

Noel was found late Thursday morning relatively close to the rest home in an area not easily visible from roads, based information posted. The family is incredibly appreciative of this person.

A heartening twist to the story is the person who found Noel knew him through family connections many years ago, and made them go further to find him.
