To raise money for the Norfolk Island Central School Music Department

Hi everyone

Welcome to our crowd-funding campaign to support the Norfolk Island Central School’s Music Department.

Last year during Country Music Week Kylie Price, Dan Cosgrove and myself went along to meet with the year 11/12 music class and realised very quickly that there were some amazingly talented kids attending that school. The department receives very little funding so I thought it would be great to give a little back to the community.

My good friend Grahame is the manager of a local music shop The Rock Shop, Manukau and is very keen to get on board and help out as much as possible.

I thought it would be great if we could purchase some ukuleles and all that goes with them and if there is any spare change left over purchase some other items that would greatly benefit the class (and of course pay for the freight to ship all the goods there).

I will supply photographic evidence.

The best way I could think of doing this is was to set up a crowd funding Campaign and run it that way and I am blown away by how many people are interested in helping out.

Also as the festival is in one months time it would be great to have the goodies delivered while we are there.

If everyone contributed just $20.00 each this will make a huge difference to the department. There are a few different levels of donations I have put together to cater for everyone as every little bit helps.
