Across the North Shore many families are struggling with the effects of COVID-19. Help us to help our community get through this.

Auckland

Help us help others!

For many families on the North Shore the effects of COVID-19 are starting to hit hard.

The impact that increasing job losses, financial burden, mental health issues and isolation are having on many is tough, not only for the individual, but for their families and communities too.

Through our COVID-19 Appeal we are able to practically provide for our more vulnerable, ensuring that they have food to eat, and helping take the financial strain off families who are struggling - but in order for us to do this we need your support!

By donating to our COVID-19 Appeal you enable us to stock our foodbank and provide practical assistance to help our neighbours in need. Every donation makes a difference.

How can I help?

- You can donate financially through the 'donate' button on this page

- You can donate physical items to our Foodbank by dropping them at our Windsor Park Baptist Church Reception on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Items that are needed are:

- cereals, rice, pasta, 2 minute noodles

- tins of food (spaghetti, baked beans, fruit, salmon/tuna, beetroot, tomatoes, pasta sauce)

- tea, coffee

- spreads (jam, marmite, peanut butter)

- crackers, biscuits

- cleaning supplies (dish detergent, washing powder)

- hygiene products (tooth paste, hand wash, toilet paper)

A little bit really does go a long way. Let's be a community who look out and care for one another, in all seasons of life! Thank you for your generosity.

If you, or someone you know, are in need of any care or help, please get in touch with our Care Team by emailing care@windsorpark.org.nz or texting/calling 022 111 6959. We are here for you and will do what we can to support you in this time.

Thank you for supporting our COVID-19 Appeal!  12 November 2020

We wanted to pop by and say THANK YOU to everyone who supported our North Shore COVID-19 Appeal.

For many this year has been more difficult than ever! As the ongoing consequences of COVID-19 continue to effect many people all over our community, we are so thankful to be able to have the resources (thanks to your generosity) to be able to support and equip them in this season.

Already we have given out many, many food parcels to help families get by, as well as supported others with a helping hand - we've paid for urgent bills/services, medical bills, car WOFs and tyres, etc., We will continue to do this as the Christmas season approaches - one which is already a tough season for many!

Thank you for joining us in blessing and supporting our neighbours and communities. We are truly better together. Let's continue to love on and support all during this season, and beyond! Kia kaha.
