NO TREATS FOR ME FEBRUARY!!
No sweet treats or alcohol for me in February!!...I'm going without to fundraise for the very worthy & wonderful Gisborne Neonatal Unit :)

I would like to try and give back to the Gisborne Neonatal unit by completing a NO TREATS FOR ME challenge and fundraising through the month of February...this means no sweet treats and no alcohol for a whole month...and for a sweet tooth like me that is going to be tough!

I have decided to do this challenge as it allows me to fundraise for a cause very close to my heart. Our twin boys Charlie Ray and Kai Noah were born 10 weeks early and spent the next 8 weeks in the Neonatal Units in both Gisborne and Waikato. It was a really scary time for my fiance Joel and I as our tiny wee boys fought for their lives. Our experience was made so much easier by the wonderful caring and specialised team in the Neonatal unit. The kind words and support made all the difference to us. They treated our sons with such gentleness and love. We are lucky to have such an amazing unit in our small city. As you can see in the photo on this page our now 14 month old sons are happy and thriving! Who would've thought they only weighed just over a kilogram when they were born!!!
