I am fundraising to achieve my dream of representing New Zealand in gymnastics at the Valeri Liukin international Invitational competition.

My name is Alex Livingstone, I am a 15 year old gymnast from Otago, New Zealand.

Those that know me will be aware that gymnastics is a huge part of my life! I have been training and competing since 6 years old, and recently started passing on my skills to younger gymnasts through coaching. I have competed at the New Zealand Gymnastics Championships 4 times and come away with great results and multiple medals. However, this year was particularly successful as I gained a second place in the overall competition along with other apparatus placings.

My success at nationals resulted in me being selected to represent New Zealand at two competitions in Texas, USA being the Valeri Liukin and Houston competitions in early 2020.

It has been my dream to represent New Zealand in this sport. This is my biggest achievement to date, and I am honored to be given this incredible opportunity. However the trip is costly and I do not have much time to raise the funds. So any donations will be greatly appreciated!

I am determined to raise the funds for this trip independently as my family did not budget for this opportunity arising and already support my gymnastics significantly. I plan to also raise money through working and other fundraising activities.

Use of funds

The donated money will go towards the estimated full price of the trip at $6000. This will cover travelling, competition entries, accommodation, food, training and uniform. Excess donations will go towards costs of training and equipment.
