In 2017 THF educated and surveyed 280 GPs, and found that there was a serious knowledge gap.
So we set about bridging that with 'Hemp Medicine 101' an RNZCGP (non endorsed) CME event for NZ medical professionals. Our first four graduates passed on Nov 18 2017.
We are rolling out a national program now, mainly funded by Tadhg's work as a high school teacher.
To continue our work we need to redouble our efforts, targeting specialist conferences, GP conferences, field days, and running programs with seniors, youth & iwi. Its all incredibly time consuming and expensive, but vitally important for all of us if we want a health system that we can afford and a world that will support our children. My mother has MS, my step father has cancer, my dads life was ruined through medical practice that didn't work out. ...Given these factors, the ignorance and indifference to patient interests of politicians and bureaucrats finally made me pop. I dived deeply into the research, discovered that i had known nothing about the field at all, even though I knew more than most at the start, and set about correcting that knowledge gap. My goal is to educate 4m kiwis before the referendum. I really need your help.

3 x $4600= $13,800 GP conferences
1x $7600= $7600 Goodfellow Symposium Medical Specialist conference
$15,000 = fielddays (farmers, industrial hemp)
Additional funds-take Hemp Medicine 101 around NZ,
promote industrial hemp education, lobby govt, make an educational movie.
