NZ Ukulele Development Squad Tour to Christchurch 2016

$1,200 of $1,400 goal
Given by 18 generous donors in 6 weeks

We are raising funds so that 21 talented teens can give some "pop-up" musical joy to the people of Ch - Ch!

Nationwide

The 2016 NZ Ukulele Development Squad is off on tour to Christchurch to showcase their talents, inspire children and teachers and to spread some musical joy in schools and public places!

This group is a ukulele orchestra of 21 talented students from Years 8 – 11. They are drawn from the Far North, Auckland and the Waikato. They play as a symphonic ukulele orchestra and there is no other ensemble like them in NZ! After five years of practising, they now ready to showcase their talent and hard work. What better way than to travel to Christchurch to give the gift of music?

They have paid for their own travel but we need to raise money to help get them to and from performances spaces such as schools, the Cathedral, the Container Mall and the Margaret Mahy Park.
