Three Elite Athletes from Nelson to represent New Zealand in Locally provided sport.
Nelson / Tasman
Obstacle Course Racing is currently the fastest growing sport in the world and this year the Wairua Warrior April 2018 was the only gateway for international qualification in New Zealand. We have a name-NZ Black Warriors and we have a team of 6, 3 of which are from our own sunny Nelson. This year the world championships will be held in the U.K. and with over 6,000 competitors from 67 countries worldwide we have so much pride that half our national team are from Nelson. People you know. Our community-our friends and colleagues. You may know them from the gym or the playground. Kevin Ford, Caleb Scowen and Tash Knight will be representing New Zealand in Oct 2018 and would like your support. Kev's-3km, 15km,(40-50) 7km teams, and 7km charity. Caleb-3km, 15km, (30-40) 7km teams, Tash-3km, 15km (womans 30-40). The event is held over 3 days at the 'Secret Nuclear Bunker' in Essex from Fri 19-Sun 21. The flights, accommodation, entry fees, and sundry costs are approximately $4,000 each. This seems low but these amazing athletes are well organised and have sought the best prices to keep costs down, however if you'd like to be an integral part of their journey you'd not only be helping these amazing athletes achieve their dream, you're also helping put Nelson and New Zealand on the Map.
I'd love to be able to help these fabulous people make the most of this wonderful and well earned oportunity as my client, fiancee, friends,
Flights to and from London, Entry Fees for 9 events, air b&b, food and travel to and from events venue. Any monies left over after costs will be put towards sending Black Warriors 2019 to ensure that our little country can continue to compete.
