A lot of people have been asking about physical donations but as they don't have their own home yet, this is difficult to coordinate. I ask if you are wanting to donate to the Methodist Mission, they will be arranging some items that this family immediately needs.

In case Shiree doesn't already know, when someone is injured or passes away due to an accidental fire, they should be covered by ACC. ACC should pay out almost $8,000 for each of the funerals required. ACC should also be able to provide ongoing assistance for childcare, etc.

Could you pop up sizes of the kids and if they’re both girls? Then people could donate what they have to help re clothing etc. Hopefully the money raised can go towards more essentials/costs. Was Shiree living at the same address? If she needs clothing, her size also. Christchurch is amazing in the face of tragedy and I’m sure us locals would dig out everything we had spare to help someone like her! Kia kaha x

Apologies I see she needs clothing too, should have read it better! Her size would be amazing, I have stuff BNWT I’d happily give her if they suit. I have way too much and a range of sizing due to weight loss/gain :)
