    Just wanted to say a massive thank you to each and everyone who has donated. Your donations mean more than you'll know.

    We were able to bring up Gemmas kids this week for a much needed visit. The smile Gemma had when she saw her kids lit up her whole face! And the massive smile Ohana has had the whole time they've been up shows how much she has missed her siblings.

    The visit couldn't of come at a better time, the kids were the perfect distraction for Ohana especially with her having her first 2 days of Chemo.

    Its going to be a long road but with the help of your donations it means we will be able to get the kids up to visit again and put a beautiful smile on a very brave 3 year olds face.

    From the bottom of all our hearts thank you so much for each and every donation. Words dont seem to do justice for what this visit has done and how truly grateful we are. So thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Update on Ohanas journey, From Gemma

    On Tues, Ohana will have surgery to have a port placed in her chest and a feeding tube inserted.

    On Wed, we'll be at the hospital for around 5 hours while they do blood tests every 30 minutes to make sure her kidneys are coping well and are ready for treatment.

    Then on Thurs, chemo begins.

    The plan is 2 days of one type of chemo followed by 6 days of another so 8 days of chemo every 2 weeks for the next 3 months. After that, she'll have surgery to remove the remaining tumour, followed by radiation, then more chemo. She will also need blood transfusion during her chemo

    We're expecting to be up here for around 6 months.

    As a single mum and the sole provider for my little family, my kids are my whole world. They're not just my children they're my best friends. Ohana has never since the day she was born been away from her siblings for this long. The longest she's ever been apart from them is the two days a fortnight she spends with her dad. We miss them more than words can say, and we can't wait until they're here with us for a few days.

    This has already been such a hard journey. There have been so many sleepless nights, and it's heartbreaking watching my poor little girl in so much pain as this tumour continues to grow so aggressively. We're hoping that once the chemotherapy starts, we'll finally see her pain begin to ease.

    Ohana, I love you more than you'll ever know. 🩷 Mummy will be strong every single day because you've already shown us what true bravery looks like.
