To help with the ongoing recovery costs for Oliver and his family.
Bay of Plenty
18 year old Oliver Thompson who is a top New Zealand multisporter has collapsed while adventure racing in China. He lies in an induced coma in a Hong Kong hospital after having to be flown by private plane to the hospital from Wulong County.
His father Ian has flown from NZ to be by his side while his Mother Solange supports his other 4 siblings at home through this difficult time. It is not known how much of the daily costs the insurance will be able to cover which is an ongoing worry for the family, as well as the cost of Ian's flights and stay there.
It is unknown at this stage how long Oliver and his Dad will be in China, and we would all like to make this time for them a little easier, and a little less stressful if we can. This is every parents worst nightmare! Please support this wonderful family and donate what you can!
Just one of the many people in their village!

From Oliver's Mum Solange: Oliver's doing miraculously well. Off dialysis, tubes out, and talking occasionally. His lungs are a concern still, but he's definitely on the road to recovery.
Solange, Ian and family are blown away with the donations and messages of support. Thankyou all so much. They cannot believe the generosity they have received. They want to extend a huge thankyou and look forward to sharing your messages of support for Oliver with him when he is well enough.
