Help us to raise funds to build on-site staff accommodation at KAASO to save on rent and long travel for staff.

St. Paul KAASO (Kabira Adult Attention & School for Orphans) is a unique community project in Uganda that provides education and mentorship to orphans and disadvantaged children in one of the areas hardest-hit by the HIV/AIDS crisis. KAASO is first and foremost a primary school, but relies on an interconnected network of community initiatives to keep the school running and the level of education high.
The school’s motto – “Invest in Education” – not only applies to the children, but also the adults of the community. KAASO’s ultimate goal is to empower people, both young and old, to enable them to follow their dreams and realise their full potential.
KAASO is currently renting accommodation to house its dozens of teachers, cooks, farm workers, administrative staff and others who help keep this incredible school running. Help us to build on-site accommodation for the staff so that they don't have to travel far to school and so that the school can save on costly rent each month.
I am the Volunteer Coordinator for KAASO and help to organise international volunteers, sponsorships and fundraisers for the school. I visit KAASO annually from my home in NZ.
The construction of an 8-room staff housing block on site at KAASO. I will be transferring the funds directly to the Assistant Director of KAASO, in Uganda
