10 September 2026Simon has had his 4th surgery today, his leg is done up with nuts and bolts (don’t know how else to describe it)
He has also had further abdominal surgery again today, at the same time as the reconstruction on his left leg and foot.
He remains in ICU heavily sedated and on a ventilator, doing the breathing for him while his body recovers the trauma.
He is putting up an amazing fight and Kandy remains by his side refusing to leave.
I can speak on behalf of the family, that they are so grateful and amazed by the contributions and love from everyone who is helping.
Thank you to all the people donating and sending messages of love and support, from their family to yours.
