As you know, our fundraising was successful, and we donated two CuddleCots, one to Rotorua and one to Waikato.

We did it ~ we raised enough for two Cuddlecots x
One went to Waikato, in memory of Koby x
Yesterday I went to the bank and paid for the 'CuddleCot' units ~ one for Rotorua, one for Waikato x
The support of you all has made this possible, and Im both excited and terrified to be at this stage of this journey!
Our fundraising continues, we still have a few bits and pieces we need before we can deliver them to our Birthing Units x

Our initial aim was for $5500, for a CuddleCot for Rotorua Hospital. A good friend of mine, Susan, and a number of her friends, organised some auctions of goods they had donated, with the funds coming to One More Cuddle. They raised just over $2000. Because this was almost half our goal, and we had reached it within a month! we decided to up our target to $7000, and bring two CuddleCots into New Zealand ~ one for Rotorua as planned, and one for Waikato, in memory of Susans precious boy Koby x

We had an interview with the local Newspaper the other day - the Rotorua Daily Post and they printed our story in todays paper :)
I'm overwhelmed by all the support and feel confident we will definitely reach our goal :) if not exceed it
