Onesua College: Vanuatu Cyclone rebuild
Support Onesua College repair classrooms damaged by cyclones Judy and Kevin.

Onesua is a boarding co-Ed high school in an isolated area of North Efate,Vanuatu serving 500 young people the majority from outer islands.
Many classrooms have lost roofs. Reroofing a classroom costs approximately NZ$7500, which is NZ$30 per sq metres.

About us
The New Zealand South Pacific District Kiwanis Foundation has supported Vanuatu for well over 20years. In particular sending school supplies to schools throughout the country. This current initiative focuses on a boarding school in North Efate badly damaged by the two recent cyclones.
Use of funds
Roofing iron and timber. The school community will provide the labour.

Thankyou again for your contribution to this givealittle page. In conjunction with the page we organised a fundraising concert with entertainment by Ni Van and Samoan RSE singers and dancers. With the concert in Nelson, NZ, and this page we raised a total of $NZ 7200. We will be going to Onesua school in a couple of weeks, (at our own cost of course). It will be great to hand deliver the total to the Principal of Onesua College. Should you wish to follow the voluntary work I do in Vanuatu, the Facebook page is “Kiwanis Threads across the Pacific”
