Help get Onewhero to the Nationals!

Onewhero Area School has qualified for the single A national tournament which is being held in Palmerston North between the 2-5th October. The team placed 5th in the North Island qualifiers winning 5/6 of the games played.

This is the first ever Onewhero Area School team to qualify for the Nationals and finally the dream for the school and our team is coming alive and we strive to represent our school, families, the Franklin area and also ourselves by getting to the nationals to leave everything out on the floor.

The school doesn’t have the best court for us to practise on but we make the most of what we can on those courts. The teams we are coming up against have much more resources, students and money which puts us at a disadvantage because we have to earn all the money for us to go off to nationals. Every donation would mean the world and would get us just one step closer to the tournament.
