Operation Zulu: Lion Rescue And Relocation Mission!
I am raising money to join a team on a lion rescue mission and relocation as they are being kept illegally in a breeding/hunting facility.
Tuakau, Auckland
Zulu is a male lion currently in Zimbabwe, he has unfortunately lost all of his companions so is very lonely at the moment. To help him get new companions, I have been selected to be a part of a team that will rescue two females that are being kept in an illegal breeding/canned hunting center in South Africa and then make the long journey with them to connect with Zulu in Zimbabwe!
I have always been so interested in helping animals whenever I can, so when I got the invitation to join, I jumped at the opportunity! This will be a once-in-a-lifetime trip and I cannot wait to get over there and begin helping. This journey will also be followed by a film crew for a documentary which will hopefully increase awareness of the importance of these rescue missions.
Use of funds
The funds will go toward travel and accommodation to get me to Zimbabwe. I’m funding this rescue and relocation project by participating, so all funds will go to the project through my participation!
