To upgrade the kitchen and surrounding areas of food prep, and make this a workable and modern space for all those who hire the facilities.

We love our marae, its views of the oRuawharo river are amazing. It has views across to Port Albert and opens up into the magical Kaipara Harbour.
We love our marae, it is busy, bustling and well utilised by many groups ranging from forestry groups, Pacific Island groups, schools, kura, government agencies, whanau, hapu and iwi to name a few. It gets a thrashing, it hosts large crowds, it hosts wanaanga, weddings, tangi, hui, and the list goes on.
We love our marae, so much that we applied to Marae DIY and were successful! We are screened to start filming in March 2019 and we are now seeking financial support so we can do the revamp and refresh of the marae. Please help us to achieve our financial goal of upgrading the kitchen, building a garden and becoming a eco friendly marae for the betterment of all people.
About us
To provide for marae for Tangi and hui gatherings To uphold the mana of our marae its whanau and hapu and tupuna, to protect promote preserve what we have(mana whenua, mana moana) to be the best in hospitality, to share sucess with others, to prepare tomarrow for our mokopuna to stand proud.
Use of funds
Building a new addition to the kitchen and much needed upgrade. The marae is well utilized by all ethnic groups and for many forums. It needs a revamp and the Marae DIY television team have some on board! So blessed.
